Product Data

When using the devices and functions, technical usage and status data may be processed and stored by the respective manufacturer of these components. Detailed information on the type, format, estimated volume, storage duration, access, retrieval and deletion options, as well as real-time capability, can be found on the respective manufacturer's website.

Related Service Data

In the course of using the device, connected service data (e.g. software, apps or diagnostic tools interacting with the device) may be generated, which the respective manufacturer receives as the data holder. Detailed information on the type, estimated volume, access, storage duration and retention can be found on the respective manufacturer's website.

Data Usage

3.1 The data is used by the respective manufacturer for purposes such as contract performance, support, functional monitoring and product improvement, as described in detail in the manufacturers' manuals and separate notices.

3.2 Disclosure to third parties is carried out by the manufacturer exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the aforementioned purposes. Third parties are contractually obliged to use data only for these purposes and to take appropriate protective measures in accordance with applicable law. Details are contained in separate notices from the manufacturers.

The data holder is the respective manufacturer. You can find the manufacturer's contact information as well as additional support on our product detail pages.

Data Access and Data Access Management

Access to product data and associated service data takes place via the portals or interfaces provided by the manufacturer as the data holder; these are available on the respective manufacturer websites.

The manufacturer is obliged to ensure this access in a common, machine-readable and interoperable format, in a simple, secure and immediate manner, without impairing the functionality of the product, and free of charge. Access must take place immediately, continuously and in real time or, if not technically possible, as quickly as possible after their generation.

Rose Bikes has no access to this data and does not process it.  

In accordance with the EU Data Act, users can assert their right to information and data portability directly against the respective manufacturer of the connected component.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

Trade Secrets

Data may contain trade secrets of the manufacturers. The manufacturer may refuse access to data that constitutes a trade secret, unless you can demonstrate that you rely on the data for the exercise of your rights under the Data Act and have taken appropriate measures to protect confidentiality. In the event of such a refusal, the manufacturer is obliged to justify this and inform you accordingly.
